Kelly Boggs
Pastor
With over 42 years of ministry, Kelly Boggs has served churches in Central Texas, Oregon, and Louisiana in the capacity as pastor and interim pastor. Additionally, he was a featured weekly columnist for Baptist Press News Service for 15 years. Kelly was also the Executive Editor of the Louisiana Baptist Convention’s news journal, The Baptist Message, for ten years, and served as liaison to the Louisiana State Legislature for the LBC. Most recently, he spent eight years as Director of Development at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Kelly, and his wife, Mindy, have been married 39 years and have four adult children and two grandchildren. A native of Central Texas, Kelly is a graduate of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Wes Moore
Minister of Music, Worship and the Arts
Wes Moore has ministered on the Big Springs staff since 1990. He holds music degrees from Oklahoma Baptist University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the University of North Texas. He is also Dean of the College of Fine Arts and Chair of the Vocal Division at Dallas Baptist University. Before coming to Big Springs, Wes served in churches in Pauls Valley and McAlester, Oklahoma. He has sung in churches and with symphonies and opera companies throughout the southwestern United States. Wes is married to his college sweetheart, Melanie, who is a freelance musician, accompanist, and choral conductor. They have one daughter, Zoe.
